We provide privacy-focused session analytics, user activity tracking, and performance metrics — all hosted within the EU. We are committed to protecting the privacy of both our customers and their end users while ensuring full compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR and similar regulations.
Data We Collect
1. From Our Customers (Users of app.pagevista.io)
Account Information:
- Email address
- Password (encrypted)
- Name
- Company details (e.g., company name)
Authentication and Security Data:
- Login activity (e.g., last login date, IP address)
- Device and browser metadata for security
2. From End Users (Processed on Behalf of Our Customers)
When customers embed Pagevista’s analytics script on their platforms, we process data on their behalf, including:
- Session Metadata: start and end times, session duration.
- Page Events: pages visited, navigation, and referrers.
- Technical Data: operating system, browser, device type, language.
- Geolocation Data: country and region derived from IP (raw IPs are not stored).
- Identifiers: anonymized visitor IDs that do not directly identify individuals.
Purpose of Data Processing
1. For Customers (app.pagevista.io Users)
- To provide access to the Pagevista.io platform.
- To secure and manage user accounts.
- To communicate regarding accounts, service updates, and billing.
2. For End Users (on behalf of customers)
- To provide analytics and reporting functionality to our customers.
- To help customers understand user engagement, performance, and session metrics.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data based on:
- Legitimate Interest: To provide analytics services and maintain platform functionality.
- Contractual Necessity: To manage customer accounts and deliver services.
- Consent: Where required by law, for optional communications or cookies (if applicable).
Data Retention
1. Customer Data
- Retained as long as the customer account remains active. If a customer closes their account, all data is immediately deleted.
2. End-User Data
- Session and event data are retained for 3 months under the free plan.
- Future paid plans may include different retention periods, which will be clearly specified in the applicable service descriptions.
- Customers can delete specific end-user data via the Pagevista.io platform. If a customer closes their account, all end-user data is immediately and permanently deleted.
Data Location and International Transfers
All customer and end-user data processed by Pagevista.io is hosted exclusively within the European Union by trusted and GDPR-compliant infrastructure providers Scalingo and OVH Cloud. Served.ch LLC is based in Switzerland, which benefits from an EU adequacy decision ensuring lawful EU–Swiss data transfers.
Sub-processors such as Stripe (for payments) and Brevo (for email communication) may transfer data outside the EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure data, including:
- Data encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), provided by our hosting partners.
- Secure, EU-based hosting infrastructure.
- Access controls and multi-factor authentication for authorized personnel.
- Regular backups and monitoring to detect and respond to incidents.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
We provide a pre-signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for all Pagevista.io customers. The DPA outlines the roles and responsibilities of Served.ch LLC as the data processor and our customers as the data controllers. You can download the pre-signed DPA directly from our website here: Download DPA.
This DPA is pre-signed by Served.ch LLC and becomes effective upon your acceptance of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It governs the processing of personal data on behalf of our customers and ensures compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. Third-Party Services
Brevo (Emails)
We use Brevo for transactional and account-related email communications. When you register or subscribe to our service, your email address and name may be stored in Brevo’s EU servers. Stripe (Payments)
We use Stripe as our payment processor for secure handling of payments. When you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe collects and processes your payment details such as credit card number, billing address, and transaction history. Depending on your location, you may have certain rights under data protection laws, including:

For End Users
As a Processor, we act on behalf of our customers, who are the Controllers of end-user data. End users may exercise their rights by contacting the website or app operator (our customer). Served.ch LLC will assist our customers in fulfilling such requests in accordance with the GDPR.
